I wanted to scan items I liked as I went through the store so downloaded the app. Turns out there were no bar/QR codes to scan in Tempe (Sydney AU) store. Then tried to find some items to save to a shopping list but it kept saying my items were out of stock at the store so wouldn’t save to list. Asked a staff member and he gave me a piece of paper and said to forget about the technology. When I went to get flat packs it turned out the “out of stock “ items were indeed available! So many problems and missed opportunities. How can a company like IKEA with all it efficiencies have an app this bad?? Made me feel like they really don’t care about customers or the shopping experience. So so poor.

Used to love this app, yes it had a few annoying faults with it but made borrowing and shopping for items a lot easier then online after they got rid of the really in-depth categories all one one simple text page. Now every time I try to use the app on both iPhone and iPad it crashes on start up. I managed to hard restart my phone and uninstall/ reinstall the app and was able to get too the login screen before it crashes and continues to crash on opening the app. Running ISO 10.3.3, app says it is for ISO 8.0 or later

I like the fact that you can search by categories, however when searching by name it would be great if suggestions came up that are similar... hard to remember the exact Swedish spelling of certain items. Would also love an alert system for things in my shopping cart when they go on sale, I almost missed out on an item being 60% off.
