  • Wish it would stay connected

I've just started using the service and I like it very much. Except for one thing. The service seems to disconnect (with and without the kill switch) from its servers until I start using an app that requires internet connectivity. Such as, if I'm already connected to the VPN, then I browse online for a bit, then I lock my phone (and leave it for a few minutes) when I come back the VPN has already disconnected and I have to try to start using the internet again for it to reconnect. This is starting to become frustrating. Instead of loosing connection it would be nice if it stays connected all the time. And if it did get disconnected for some reason, then it should auto reconnect. Sometimes (this is mainly when the kill switch is disabled) if the above situation (what I described in the above paragraph) happens, once I've lost connection to the VPN, it won't reconnect at all. Unless I go in the app and pick a server again. I would like to some improvements to the service such as some options in the settings that have an auto connect and auto reconnect if connection is lost.

Tried many vpn services but nothing compares to Nordvpn. It’s quick and fast there are no issues, many servers to select from. If you have any issues the support team are very helpful and they fluff you around like other support teams from other services. If there was a con I would say that there are less protocols to choose from the application. Overall I’m satisfied for a reliable vpn service.

I love this app and use it all the time but.... When recently traveling to Japan. I connected to all the major wifi providers... docomo, SoftBank and au... but the all blocked me when using the app. This is the one downside. It worked over 4g / LTE but they would block me when connected to wifi.. I tried it with all possible settings (took forever and didn’t work). Consequently had to connect via 4g to connect securely.
