This app is useless. Recipes don't load. First time I fired it up I saw 9 recipes. The infomercial on TV says it has over 100. I closed the app and tried looking about five times more and see none now ... zilch and get the message: 'no network connection'. This makes no sense whatsoever. I have excellent NBN broadband at 100MBps. I clicked on the button to report app problems and get an error. I tried reporting here in the app download/review area and get an error! Also the range of airfryers is not complete and is jumbled and misleading. This was very disappointing because this was the hardest thing to understand about the Philips units.. I spent weeks researching their airfryers on the net, even created a spreadsheets to compare the features of all models. The names are confusing, they have several names for each unit and the range is so vast and the many different names ... Viva, Avance, Daily, Turbostar, xl, xxl ... ! Or the long model number (which in the end I found the only way to identify). What?? You would think their app would make this simple, it's not, it's worse. I'm sure the five star reviews here are for the airfryers (my Philips airfryer is great). But this is where you are supposed to review the app ... which is complete rubbish.

Philips seem to have a hard time grasping the needs of their customers. I’ve had no problems loading the recipes on my iPad but there are ingredients missing from several recipes (like the spring roll wrappers for spring rolls) which makes me not trust the rest of the recipes. The recipes have been written in English by someone who doesn’t have English as their first language (and kudos to you for having more than one language, one more than I have, but please use a proofreader before publishing). The printed instructions with my AirFryer are abysmal, with little pictograms for various foods that are unidentifiable. Pictograms are only useful if you can tell what they represent. And this app doesn’t use the same pictograms which would have been logical. Try harder, Philips!

Excellent airfryer. Plenty of recipes to source on the net including videos there as well. Only one complaint we r a family of three and my airfryer only takes very small chickens which I need to source from a different shop to where I normally shop. I love cooking chickens and small roasts they come out juicy and succulent. We r in the new year looking to update to the larger one the XXL then I will be really happy.
