  • VSCO X Video - 1080p Please? (Better Resolution)

VSCO Cam has been one of my all time editing apps ever and with the addition of editing videos through the VSCO X program, I adore this app even more. However, it would really be great and beneficial if VSCO allows us to export the edited videos at least up to 1080p. I know that 4K is not a must and that is totally fine, but I would’ve like to export videos after editing at FullHD resolution and not up to 720p for better, high quality videos. I think that a lot of consumers would’ve like to save not only the best looking photos, but also producing the best looking videos don’t you think? Overall, I admire VSCO as a whole but I think with a couple of improvements like saving videos in FullHD resolution, VSCO would have potential of being the perfect photo and video editing app.

I used to love this app. I bought every preset that was out, and after a bungle in their end I had a free subscription for a year to the extra stuff. When that expired, I received no notice I just figured it out for myself. Fair enough. I still had the filters I’d always used. But I’ve just gone in to edit a photo today, and all of a sudden whole filter groups that I’d been using even since my subscription expired are now required to be purchased. I’ve pumped way too much money into what’s essentially a fancy step before Instagram, and I’m not happy that I dropped money last week to have a complete collection - again - but now today even more of what I’d already been using is gone. Not worth the money unless you’re getting the desktop version. Absolute rip off and zero loyalty to pre-existing users 🙅🏼‍♀️

    1. The most important one is to allow manual sorting/re-arrangement of imported pics. When I batch import my pics, they no longer appear in chronological order. It's very slow to import one photo at a time, in the order that I want them to appear in the studio. It would be much easier if I could click and hold a picture and slide it to the position I want it to appear in. 2. Include a brightness adjustment as well as exposure. Exposure increases shadows and highlights, similar to Levels in Photoshop, but it doesn't brighten the entire image the same way that Instagram's "Brightness" adjusts the photo. 3. Allow to desaturated a photo completely. Currently, the desaturate function still retains some colour in the photo even at the lowest extremity
