  • New update has ruined what was an average experience.

    By Sepileptic
Previous versions were average at best. But at least you could watch something. However, my last three flights has seen the app thoroughly infuriate. It has not worked despite being fully updated. Even worse it directs you to the internet browser then back to the app to tell you that it won’t work. I’m not sure who decided to release this update to customers without adequate testing but it has been an epic failure. If you charge premium prices, provide premium service. If the app continues to fail it may be a reason to pay a little extra cash and switch allegiances to another airline. Long haul flights without entertainment is soul destroying. In the meantime I’d advise downloading movies to your device just in case.
  • The changes are terrible :(

    By JLG Aus
Hey team, it’s time to take it back to an ‘in-app’ app. Even though the entertainment app was installed on my devices (I tried my iPhone and iPad), each time I attempted to play a movie, I was redirected to the App Store to download the entertainment app. I did this and it made matters worse and the process repeated over and over until I was lucky enough to get one started. Basically my whole flight was spent getting frustrated. The app used to be AWESOME and I love flying with virgin, this is very frustrating though. Just because we can now connect to the internet in flight, doesn’t mean it’s cool to re-direct to safari for this app to work.
  • Help...why did you change the inflight entertainment...why can some iPads get and others not...

By ENOUGH. I have had ENOUGH
OMG. So frustrating using the new system. I have a brand new IPad with up to date everything.......that cant be used as an excuse. Have followed all the instructions to the letter a multiple of times....still...still cannot get hooked in to the system. Today I could not get on and the person next to me could!!!!! Same product...agahgahagah. I would like to give no star but the system will not allow me too.. so it will have to be 1 star... VIRGIN. You are my preferred air transport but i cant get into to you inflight entertainment....fix it please.....the update has been an epic fail.....
