  • $44/month just to match up?! Whart?!

    By tiger22000
The main issue I have with Tinder is that when I am looking for matches, none of the people who have already favourited me come up first - making it impossible to actually match with anyone, even though it is stating there are people who have liked me, but it then becomes this endless pointless search to actually find a match, because the developers behind Tinder have deliberately made it difficult to match up - so that they can cash in on making big bucks. - And speaking of big bucks, one month of simply activating simple features on this useless app is **Im sorry ..how much?? *coughing up* $44 per month?? To what, actually get matches for random strangers that I have never met and probably never will?! I thought $4/month of a subscription fee was bad.. but this is the biggest rip off of the century! You’ve got to be out of your mind! No one in their right mind would pay that price to simply unlock simple in app features that really don’t do much at all?! Let alone a 12 month upfront subscription!! What a dodgeball! 😬
  • Tinder Gold Wrought

Previously had tinder thought it was great (no subscription back then) Downloaded it, tried it, thought I’d give a months subscription a go to stop the swiping limit. Only reason I subscribed. Didn’t care about the other features of it. Made the most conservative profile and in less than 48 hours my account was banned. Emailed the developer to get an explanation why, if my profile could be reviewed and reinstated, that I hadn’t violated community guidelines, terms of use or their privacy policy. I even asked for a refund if this was not possible to reinstate. After communicating and letting them know I was having app and web troubles with their product I sent pictures back with error an error message and banned message. Their final message back was your banned. You broke a rule. No further communication from them was received when I asked what I had done. Now I’m having to jump through hoops just to get my money back from a dodgy company that only wants your money and won’t give you an explanation as to why you’ve been banned. Less than 48 hours of having an app 😡
  • Lazy staff and a greedy company

I was only on the app for two days when I was banned. I had not done anything wrong, my profile had nothing to private or inappropriate on it, and I only matched with and spoke to one person about contact lenses of all things. I messaged their lazy excuse for customer service and explained the situation only to be told that Tinder take their ‘terms of use and community guidelines very seriously’, that I violated them, and they don’t have an appeal process. This is bull***t, if they took their guidelines seriously they’d be spending some of the income they make stealing from the Gold members they also alway ban to pay staff to review bans instead of permanently banning anyone who’s reported without so much as a glance at their profile. The level of disrespect they show for their users by assuming we’re to blame without knowing anything about the situation beyond that someone on their app reported them! I broke no rule they’re just too lazy and arrogant to bother with a review system!
