How to Download, install and use 9Now on your Windows Computer

At the moment, 9Now is not available for download on computer. However, you can use emulators to run Android applications on PC. One example is the BlueStacks App Player. It is a powerful tool that provides users a virtual device similar to an actual phone. This also enables users to install games and other popular and in-demand applications.
Thus, you will be able to access the Play Store without any restrictions. The downside of this is it slows down the performance of your computer even though the app is not running in the background.
Not only that, some complains about its sluggish operation. Let us proceed with the steps, so we can use 9Now on your computer in 4 simple steps below:

1: Download and install the BlueStacks App Player on your computer - Here >> .
If you successfully downloaded the Bluestacks.exe, go to your Downloads folder on your computer or anywhere you ususally store downloaded files.
Once you have find it, click it to install the application. It should start the installation process on your PC.
Click Next to accept the EULA License agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application.
If you do the above correctly, the Software will be successfully installed.

2.Once it has been installed, open the program and sign in using your Gmail account or create a new one.

3: Search for 9Now on the Play Store and install it.

  • Beyond Frustrating

    I’ve persevered with this app for a while now with its technical issues but it’s hit a new low - last night I was TRYING to watch a recent episode of The Block via AirPlay to my Apple TV and every few mins it would just stop playing and disconnect from the Apple TV. I’m used to this constantly happening now so I have my phone open all the time on the app ready to reconnect and restart the program I’m watching, but last night it actually kept going back to the start of the show and then I’d have to remember where I was up to (!!!) and fast forward back to that point, over and over again. An 80 minute program took almost 2 and a half hours to watch!! I’m so sick of it. I thought it was frustrating before but this is beyond ridiculous. I know it’s not my iPhone X or my Apple TV or my network as my other streaming apps (like Hayu) don’t ever do this. I wouldn’t even bother with 9Now if it wasn’t for not having a TV aerial in my bedroom and not being available to watch the programs live when they originally air. I’d watch it a lot more often if it didn’t have such horrendous technical issues.

    The amount of times I have had to login just to watch a show is insane! Then once you manage to login, it asks you to update your profile information before continuing. However, I have updated and saved it 20 times and it still says that I need to update my information otherwise I cannot watch the shows. This is ridiculous coming from a FREE to air channel. What’s the point of having a catch-up app if no one can even use it? This is just classic Channel 9 all over again. Even on TV they can’t seem to get it right. I’ve stopped watching some of my shows because for years now Channel 9 would air 1 episode and then you would have to wait weeks for the next episode. Sometimes they would advertise that they were going to be airing an episode only to tune in and realise it was a repeat from a previous season despite them being behind on airing the current season and the U.S.A being close to the end of the season. Either get it right Channel 9 or you are going to lose a lot of viewers. To be honest I am surprised the channel still has viewers.
  • It fails on every level

    Cumbersome login/authentication process Once you’re finally logged in, it will play your selected show for a few minutes, then randomly start playing a 30s ad. It will cutout when people are mid sentence and it’s extremely infuriating because there seems to be no logic or way of predicting when it will happen. Then after the ad, it will take you back to the start of the show. Every time. My head is trying to get around the fact that somebody was paid to make this thing. Somebody else was paid to manage this person. That 9 is actually willing to have such an atrocious product linked to their brand. You bought Fairfax to leverage off their digital offerings, but good luck with that when you can’t even a basic app right. This deserves -1 stars because you will waste your time and it literally doesn’t work. (I can’t believe some people are giving this 2 stars and more, despite suffering these issues. How low are your standards?)
