I used Ola for the first time because everyone knows that Uber is pretty much just as expensive as a regular cab these days so I thought hey why not try this app out. I travelled from Avondale heights to Brighton East and when I checked how much the fair would cost me it said $32-35 which I thought was amazing considering the cheapest I’ve gotten an Uber home from this location was $41 (Before Uber increased prices AGAIN) also it said being my first ride I was given a coupon for $20 which would be deducted from my trip. So here I was thinking oh wow I’m going to get a trip home for $12-15 but oh no I was sadly mistaken. When I checked to see how much I had been billed a couple days later I saw that over $36 was removed from my account. Not only is Ola misleading customers but just straight up fraudulent. I was charged additionally for Tax, parking and toll. Turns out that Ola has already applied the voucher to my trip which was not what stated when I checked my trip estimation. It should’ve said $52-55 initially. If I had known that was the case I would’ve gone with Uber which offers the same price, better service, nicer cars and just better customer service. I’m yet to receive a reply from Ola. I will recommending everyone I know to avoid using your service.

I started using Ola cabs recently and have to say that the quality of service has been extremely low. On Saturday 27 October after waiting for a car that never showed up, I booked another vehicle which turned up with an extremely rude driver who did not offer to assist with a heavy box that I had and needed some support with. As I got out of the car with the heavy box I accidentally dropped my eyeglass case that was never returned even after several attempts and an offer to pay for its return. On the same evening, I foolishly booked two other Ola cabs. My last ride of the evening continued the disastrous experiences... the driver got lost, picked me up late, took a wrong turn on the Westgate freeway in Melbourne which resulted in a long, unpleasant and unnerving ride back after Midnight. This of course was my last trip via Ola. I will not be riding or recommending this company!

It was my first on ola and hoped from seeing all the advertisements it would be a nice ride to catch. Unfortunately, my hopes were cut off. That day I was in a hurry and hoping to get there fast. After I got into the car, I saw the drivers gps on the normal way I would go to my destination, so I wasn’t worried. Half way he makes a turn, and starts going around another way. I asked the driver if he could, go my directed way and he did. I was nearly at my destination and the driver was following the route, and then I see him change the destination address and going another way. I told him again to stay on the route and he did, he then gave a sigh and turned off the gps, I got to my destination but quite a few minutes late. So next time I would advice to check if your driver is going the right way. Btw, we I checked if I wrote the destination correctly, it was correct and when the ride was over, it was still correct. The driver changed my address half way.
