  • I wish you could get more out of this

    By An Elven Fangirl
This used to be my favourite work out app. Even though I still use this, I am disappointed with the update. Most workouts and programs are Premium, and the only program that is free, there is only one session a week, when I want to do about 3-4. There are limited workouts which are free, which means I can only do certain workouts, and some may not suit my body type. I think it is absurd to put in a Premium, yes, they do want to make money, but you already have to pay around $200 for the Charge 2, which I have. If you are going to make a Premium version, then at least make more programs and workouts for people who can't afford it or don't want to pay that much money. I miss the old version where it was all free. Yes, the Premium is good for people who work out every single day, or people who can afford to pay another $62 on top of the watch they already. On the upside, the workouts are very good and give me just the right amount of exercise. I wish I could write a more positive review. Please do something to change this.
  • So far so good!

I’ve done a couple of workouts so far and I love it! I used to be a gym junkie but with my work I haven’t been able to go and over the past four years I was becoming unfit and gaining weight. Don’t have time to go to the gym, especially when classes are on, and I don’t have the energy to make my own programs. This app seemed great! I was a little annoyed when the fit test didn’t ask me to rate exercises due to an error, but I just chose a program and went for it. It actually asks you to rank difficulty of exercises at the end of every workout, and following on it adjusted for my ability (I can’t do push ups anymore). Pushes me and I haven’t sweated so much in a long time. Awesome feeling!
  • Really disappointing for a Fitbit fan

I recently downloaded this app looking to get more from my Fitbit during a period of sustained motivation and signed up for the premium subscription. I found the app extremely poor and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. - It has poor ease of use, I wasn’t looking to spend much time trying to figure the app (impatient and busy), so that was frustrating from someone who is usually quite tech savvy. - No ability to play own music whilst following a workout. - Music in the app is very limited and plays so loudly over the vocal workout instruction I couldn’t hear what the vocal instruction was. I tried the app three mornings in a row to accompany my home workouts and was unfortunately so disappointed that I have immediately cancelled my subscription.
