  • Made me want to leave citibank!

    This app is the worst app in the world... FIRE YOUR DEVELOPER PLEASE! (The only reason it has an average rating of 1 is because you aren't allowed to leave zero stars however this is all it deserves...) My partner and I went with citibank because we were going on a year long overseas trip. Good perks of the account however the online presence of citibank is HORRIFIC! I can never log in to the app as it constantly says "citibank is updating wait a moment" so therefore cannot check my account balance ever! Secondly since the "upgrade" to move to the token instead of the one time pin requires an SMS I am now unable to check any statements or transfer money as I do not have access to my SIM card for SMS purposes!!!! Thanks citibank... pay some money to get this app completely redone as you are losing customers by the minute!
  • Really really slow

    This app used to be good, but over the last couple of months have become extremely slow to load. If you’re not on sla super fast network, it often won’t load at all. I’m not sure what changes have led to this, but I often just can’t use the app because it won’t load because the network is not fast enough. Would also like to see the practice of forcing updates when you try to start the app, stop. If you’re not on a super fast network, the update won’t happen and the app fails to load.m - this is an issue when you need to log in to do some banking. Citibank, please let me decide when the update happens so it can occur when I can be near a decent network, and so it doesn’t stop me using the app.
  • Very basic not many features & poor functionality

    Compared to my other bank apps this is very basic with little or no features or functionality. I’ve provided feedback numerous times & the bank keep asking for more feedback but clearly chooses to ignore it. Also the customer service call centre is very rude & arrogant. They really only want to do the absolute minimum & I have to be very pushy & persistence (unfortunately) to receive the standard of customer service I am use to from other financial institutions. The app needs the following improvements: Live chat via the app (preferably 24 hrs) More details about each transaction (especially credit card) PayID should be available by now. Many other Australian financial institutions have this available , but Citibank arrogantly dismisses my Enquiries about when this will be available- let alone in the app. Numerous performances improvements: app frequently crashes, takes a long time to load & touchID often will not work & have to manually enter password. If you genuinely want to improve the app then I suggest take feedback on board otherwise it’s called rhetoric.
