This, is one of my favourite apps. Much better than PowerPoint for iPad. First of all, when I paste lyrics down on PowerPoint, it all bunches together so I spend hours trying to make it line by line. However, on keynote, it’s already done. No bunching together. Also, previously when I used to use PowerPoint, I spent hours on it trying to simply fit a few photos together and do some text. Keynote is simple, easy and not at all touchy and sensitive. It’s even has a lock button to lock a photo or text box in a certain spot so you can’t accidentally move it, which is VERY helpful. I recommend Keynote before any other app.
  • Would convert over but has one major deal breaker for teachers

This is literally the best presentation app for the classroom with the best annotation support bar none. I would love to convert to this app except it has one major oversight which makes this completely useless for a teacher such as myself. This app allows you to annotate on live presentations which performs better than it’s competitors which is great… Unless of course you were ever thinking about saving those annotations. From what I can tell there is absolutely no way to save annotations made in presenter mode which to me seems a no brainer, but infuriates me as I now have to go back to the clunky MS PowerPoint just for this one simple feature.

Awesome! It has everything, graphs, charts, pictures, texts, fonts, animations - the basic recipe for presentations. But what I like the most about Keynote is that it’s so easy to navigate and user friendly , unlike PowerPoint which at first is pretty hard to use at first. And you don’t have to waste time making an account which you’ll probably forget the password for. Keep it up! :)
