  • Could be MUCH better

I have close to 100 photos I shared with myself - I run a photography Instagram & like to edit the photos, watermark & upload them via my phone - I sent them to myself after uploading them from my camera to laptop, and now I have to click each one in the folder individually to “export” them to my phone. Surely there’s a better/quicker way where I can select either all in the folder, or just the folder from my files & “export all” to my phone? It’s so incredibly time consuming, but it’s the only way I can do things. I have some very powerful editing apps on my phone, and nothing on my laptop (it’s a work laptop anyway!) so there is no way I can do all the work via my laptop.

Hi. I liked dropbox from very begining since i start using. But i think there might be little more improvement. The picture which we moved from POTOS to FILES create under different names, should not be shows up in the Photos afterward. Once we moved them from Photos to Files they must be erased from there because we are moving them not just copying. Hope you will think about it.
  • Ignores popular feature requests for a decade

Dropbox has received many, MANY requests on their website from customers to create a .dropboxignore file feature, where you could specify in that file what types of file extensions, file names, or sub folder names should not be sync’d by the app in a given directory. When staff do both to respond, they suggest selective sync to people who highlighted in their post how that feature is inadequate or they suggest storing the files outside the directory. Or they repeat the boiler-plate response that it will be forwarded to the dev team. Only to be ignored. Time to move to a better file storage service that cares about what their customers want with more than robot-written platitudes.
