  • Spaghetti Crab POP up restaurant

    By Crab O
Situated in O’Connell Street, Adelaide this pop up restaurant was to end after 6 weeks but has extended for another 4 weeks. Serving one dish only, spaghetti with crabs - it is a lot of fun. The waitress was effervescent from the outset making us feel really comfortable, even though the stools could have been better. There were 11 of us so we had a room out the back, bibs were supplied. It was BYO ($12) so nice reds were opened and when we were ready the meal rolled up. Lots of spaghetti and plenty of crabs. Because it is out of season for local crabs these were caught in deeper water and lost a little in flavour and they certainly weren’t full. ‘Crackers’ for the crabs were supplied, bowls to wash your fingers, plenty of serviettes so it was roll up your sleeves and into it. If you want dessert it comes as an Cornetto ice cream for $2.50, a novel idea. Take home packs were provided for the pasta left over. The night could have been better if the 3 large plates of pasta and crabs had come out as 2 serves and and then 1, so the food stayed hotter, and I am sure that can be done. A fun night and highly recommend if you have a spare night in the next 4 weeks.
  • Awesome adventures of the imagination

What a great day we’ve had at the amazing Bellingham Maze. This place never ever disappoints me or my little friends that I have the pleasure of sharing it with. Walking into the maze there is a waterfall that covers the entrance at first which captures the imagination and it really can just flow from there. I love asking the children lots of questions about what they think might be behind the waterfall and where the path may lead and what treasures they may see or whether there is a crocodile in the water or perhaps a fairy that lives in the maze somewhere 😊 creating some magic ✨ We made our way through the 5 different mazes and had loads of laughs on the putt putt golf ⛳️ course. My little 6year old friend was super excited 😃 to get her first hole in one🏌️‍♀️😃 and the beautiful staff always make everyone big and little feel super special 👍 certainly worth a visit and the cookies at the cafeteria are awesome 😃
  • Not always authentic reviews

    By pjjsn
Although in the past I have been an avid user of the TripAdvisor App I am now extremely more aware. I had my own personal experience at a resort where I wrote my honest review about a resort my husband and I stayed in. A day after this review was written I was contacted by the resorts Manager via Messenger privately offering me a discount on our next visit at the restaurant on the small resort. After not replying, as I thought this was somewhat unusual given I wasn’t going to return to Thailand to stay at that resort again, he messaged me again offering me more of a discount to REMOVE my review off TripAdvisor!! We chose this resort because it had 5/5 star reviews by most people ....sadly this system has been rorted I suspect by someone who works at the resort. I contacted TripAdvisor to let them know and they told me that there was nothing they could do. So do I put my whole trust in TripAdvisor anymore-NO. My advise to everyone using TripAdvisor is to read all the negative reviews, you will soon find the truth.
