I’m an infrequent user of the tolls in Melbourne, so when I heard about this app I thought it would be perfect for me. However, I received notification that I had 2 outstanding payments when I hadn’t used the toll roads. When I reviewed these on the app, I realised these had occurred in NSW (not by me, but by a driver of a car in NSW with the same number plate as me). I contacted the number provided on the Linkt website a number of times where I experienced being hung up on and being told I would be called back which never happened. Finally, the issue was amended and the trips were taken off my account. I was advised to remove my vehicle registration from the app and only adding it again when I was planning on travelling on the toll roads, which I did. Two days later I received a further two notifications of trips that again occurred in NSW. In theory the app seems like a great idea, however the process obviously isn’t fool proof.
  • Fantastic customer service!

At first I had nothing but issues with the app and I reviewed the app accordingly, within 30 hours I had a customer service representative named Barry call who resolved the issues. I was unaware I had misspelt a letter on my license plate so I had been getting trips refunded after I paid, Barry was fantastic about it and informed me I made them aware of a bug in the app which has now been fixed where it was sending me notices after I removed vehicles. Thankfully it has stopped and I cannot praise the customer service of this app highly enough. Thank you for addressing the review in such a speedy manner and having everything resolved so efficiently!
  • Dont use multiple devices = Double charges

Because I didn’t realise you can’t use this app on two devices, I’m going through the nightmare of being double charged and having to prove they’ve been paid the other device. What a friggin nightmare!! It’s easier to just not use tolls! Everytime I call up with an issue I get told I owe money from a toll from 6 months or more ago $40 with they’re stupid charges! I’ve received fines for unknown tolls that I’ve just had to pay for the problem to go away. Funny how I’ve spoken to them more than once in the last 6 months and yet I’m only being told now! I am NOT paying, no longer using this app and now refuse to use tolls. Total rip offs and as deceitful AF!!!
