  • Too limited.

The clunky use for voice chat withstanding, there is basically nothing to do with this app. There is such potential that Nintendo online can do and to now be charged for online with basically no ecosystem is outrageous. First of all, the app should be extended, why can’t we view the Eshop, make purchases and push downloads from here. Why can’t we view our games, playtimes, friends lists from here. Messaging / group and game organisation would be nifty but I don’t fee is required. Why we use discord ( or discord for voice chat in this regard with friends ). Actually discord almost invalidates this entire app. The app I feel is here for the sake of it, Sony and Microsoft have one so now we do too but in the end the app just doesn’t do anything to be worthy of its existence.
  • We need a way to contact our friends

Nintendo please let us be able to use this app to message people on our friends list. Diablo 3 has just come out and it would be handy to be able to message people to organise games. It’s not your job to police younger users from strangers on the internet, that’s what parents and the Nintendo parental control app is for. Literally everyone in the Nintendo switch adds is an adult, this console is marketed towards adults and we should be able to contact each other, like adults. I don’t care that voice chat has to be done through an app ( which is dumb FYI ) but just let us be able to message people on our friends list for goodness sake.
  • It isn’t worthless

The only reason people hate this is because of the voice chat, understandable but there are more ways to play and chat. Voice chat isn’t the only feature I find it fun aiming for turf to get the sweet wallpaper, seeing updates, checking splatfest ranks, if grizco is open and the stages so stop 1 staring it’s not Nintendo who made the splat and chat headset (I don’t know who did but it wasn’t my bois Nintendo look it up) imagine what this will be like in the future with more games compatible with the app
