  • Menu Page Clear

    By Morherbee
I like this app because the channels are clearly defined and the line down the page shows the programmes streaming at the time. I have found that the reminder does not work. When I first downloaded the app and fixed up the sounds and reminders it worked perfectly. However a couple of weeks later... no reminders, no signs so I’ve missed some of my favourite serials. Annoying! I don’t have enough data to be able to watch the shows I’ve missed, so not happy. I’d also like to make a suggestion that all reminders be highlighted in colour on the menu page. This would be seen at a glance that it’s a show to be watched. Hopefully it would be an easy inclusion to do. Apart from the above comments I find this app to be one of the better ones to be had. Thanks.
  • "Access to catch-up TV" feature advertised is misleading and deceptive

    By picksomething
I read some reviews but thought I'd give it a try, maybe an update had improved it, but was disappointed, and this app lasted 5 seconds on my iPad. They really need to say a *disclaimer that all corresponding TV networks' apps are required to use catch up TV. If this was a paid product, it would be called 'misleading and deceptive conduct' under Australian Consumer Law by not saying other things required in order to use their advertised features. Yeah I get it - network content/advertising contracts etc. but at least be up front that this is NOT a replacement of other networks' apps. I didn't bother trying any other features before deleting this app. I'm sure others may appreciate the guide etc *shrug* but for me this is not fit for the purpose advertised.

Channel 9 doesn't even work instead it goes to the App Store. I think it wants you to download the app and create an account. So the advertisement on the front App Store page is a lie 'stream all', which it can't do, I am pretty sure that is a breach of Apple app terms and conditions. With channel 9 requiring an account I though it is free to air TV, if I want to create an account I would just go to Netflix instead for all that effort. Freeview and channel 9 don't even care, so I don't we will this issue fixed anytime soon. Update: I thought I’d try it again, no fixes from the above. New problem if you are in Queensland and it’s summer ABC and SBS display their times in the guide as AEDT, so there is a mismatch of AEDT and AEST in the guide which groups the programs based on those times. So all up the guide is useless.
