  • Giving a platform for work is one star

    I’m giving 1 star for this app, it has lot of issues. Navigation suggestions are not the best. Flexy pay was easy in older version but new upgrade has no options. Viewing weekly income and daily income were easy on older version. Jobs information are not clear enough , street info and suburb info might help the drivers to decide the job acceptance . Giving jobs to the driver who are wrong directions are common error of this app. Missing the tolls used or giving tolls that are not used is another issue. Dropping pick up point and drop off point errors , drop off is not big issue but pick up point error makes work difficult and time wasting. Rates on traffic jam or waiting for someone is ridiculously low. New upgrade looks like more data and battery consuming not sure yet but its continuous sign of finding jobs and you are online sign irritates me . I know I’m online blinking all the time irritates me. And many more . There’s only one good thing , waiting que info separately in Sydney domestic and international terminal helps to decide . Some of the streets are closed for many years in Sydney but app suggests to go through that .
  • Rating system is just too unfair

    After 2 years of working with this app at the most minimum wages, I never have a doubt or complain about it until now. The app is good but the rating system is just unfair. When the restaurant is not ready and I was there waiting for them to finish because they made a mistake with the order. It was ok for me to wait there for like 20 to 30 minutes, i did not even gave them a bad rating. I was patient enough. However when I arrive to the customer, they seem frustrated for waiting that long and blame me. And they rate me bad. One by one the % of the rating went down. The worst thing is when we did good no one rates us as good. So it never count. However if something went wrong the customer always blames us and aways rate us bad. The whole rating system is just unfair and frustrating. I’ve tried my best being polite and professional as much as i could to the customers. This will be the last day i’ll work as a delivery partner. I hope uber team fix this issues with the rating system and treat us fairly.

    The app has gone better and improves or bring new features every time. However the main feature required is pick up location and drop off location which works well, mostly. 🧐 I’ll appreciate if below features can be added 1. Change X to XL if rider hopes in more riders then original 4, before we start the trip. You can send message to rider app for confirmation to prevent misuse. 2. Feature to add comment for riders feedback after trip finish 3. Option to send feedback/comment/help message for last ride even if new ride has been accepted or started. As UBER is number 1 rideshare service, it’s mostly 4 or 5 ride before we get option and time to send feedback of a ride while we are expected to send feedback asap if there is any issue 4. Uber charge rider for making big mess in car. they should now start sending warning and start deducting cleanup charges from riders for small damages as well. I had incidents where rider jumped over seats, scratched the roof lining, left bottles/cans in 3rd row or pockets of second row. Etc. 5. Is it possible to add security/seat belt as comment for low rating? Some of riders do create issues and even though Uber suggest to stop the car, it’s not practical with 4 to 6 people with aggressive behavior sitting in back.
