  • Great app - gotta know what you are doing

I love this app - I can’t see how anyone can lose by using it ! Having read some of the reviews it’s pretty clear people don’t know how this app works and aren’t taking advantage of the great savings. Here’s how I us the app. As I have two cars I set up a second account in my wife’s name - that way I can lock in low prices a couple of days apart and take advantage of lower prices for longer than seven days. I also search nearby stations using the store locator that are outside my 5klm area, but on my regular routes, and lock in cheaper prices when I’m within those areas. I also worked out that if I drive just up the road from my local servo I get a different set of stations and one of them nearly always has THE best prices - so I lock in there and then. Have a play - you will achieve great savings ! It’s not for everyone but, I opted to purchase two gift cards and redeemed them to my accounts then pay by credit card at fill up. That way I always have credit on the accounts. If you see a price that is lower than your voucher price you simply don’t use the voucher - you only ever buy fuel at the lower price. It’s easy for a novice user to make a mistake and lock in a voucher for less fuel than you want (like I did). In that case simply buy 2 liters of fuel to use that voucher (you will only ever pay the cheaper price) and then lock in a new voucher. Shame it still doesn’t work on iPhone 8+ !!!!

You need to listen to your customers, With fuel prices around $2 per litre now, Being restricted to loading $100 per day into your account is ridiculous. My tank holds 72 litres...do the math. Like i and many have said before, remove the “velocity” restriction, or even better, how about you do away with having to have money sitting in your 7/11 account altogether? I leave $120 in my account and always pay by other means to avoid your silly app velocity restrictions, but it shouldn’t have to be that way. Also why not open it up so you can pick the cheapest prices in the country?? My 4 local 7/11’s close to me are always the same price, so there’s hardly any benefit to that function of the app. Also why are you dropping support for iphones running ios lower than 10? I refuse to update my iphones as they get slower and slower (apple does this on purpose) so don’t force restrictions on those who choose not to update ya mongs! TLDR Drop the need for money to be prepaid on the app, Drop minimum ios requirements, open up your local cheapest to price nationwide, oh and allow us to delete vouchers if we find a better deal to lock in for 7 days!

If I could put 0 I would. First time I used it the voucher didn’t work, the staff member didn’t know what to do and I had to pay again because their customer care is business hours only. On top of that they refused to refund me the money I paid for the voucher adding five dollars onto it instead. They stated the voucher lasts 99 years, that is beyond ridiculous. The second time I didn’t manage to use all of it so I had a remaining balance. The third time I was told I couldn’t use the remaining amount and my card that I needed to top up. I had to top up and still have a small amount remaining because they don’t allow you to type in the amount but instead make you choose their options. I’m trying to waste it all because I don’t want to use it and you guys just won’t let me go or return my money. Not happy.
